Like everything in life. Its all about extracting value from someone else who has no control over the exploitation. You only notice when you are the one being exploited though. As long as some company can improve its bottom line it’s all go

Nice, someone with a company size of 26 to 50 got 50M of funding and is paying themselves out 1M a year working remote. That is the life. I want to know what industry that is in.

They are justifying the rewrite by saying that it is memory safe. I don’t think its a bad goal but if they don’t do the work to maintain and package these for distros it wont make it very far. However im always surprised by how many people

Having more than one option should be generally seen as a good thing. I don’t think an open source project needs to justify its existence if you dont want to take the time to learn what it actually does

You need to buy into the phab workflow which is diff based not branch based. Once you accept that the experience is awesome. For many people they don’t understand git enough unfortunately to appreciate the workflow not that it doesn’t have

Why is the assumption that crypto has held back innovation? If anything normally pumping a ton of money into something causes more innovation to happen.

Im not saying long covid doesn’t exist. Only that it is going to be really fun to figure out what it is when a lot of people think they have it. All of those symptoms seem like they could be stress induced to me at any rate. If you find any

Why is a background check that includes references needed for a passport? Its not the governments job to determine if you are a likable person and i hope they don’t rely on those likely very shallow checks to determine anything.
