describing steam as a store in this situation is inaccurate. they are providing the game server, setting up the match making, and enabling the communication between players. it puts them in a more reasonable position to moderate.

Seems like the variety of outcomes for allowing pets would make this prohibitive. Imagine the first time a dog bites another passenger or shits on a seat mid flight or starts uncontrollably barking.

More accurately, houses are expensive in places where many people want to live. The recommendation would be to buy a house where people dont want to live, which is kinda lame.

Putting out some simple numbers: Let’s say you have a million users and once a month, 1% of them need to speak with a human for 15 minutes. That’s 30k hours of support per year, so like 15 full time employees just to be on the phone.
