What's the reasoning for denying same-sex marriage? Why are gay citizens equal enough to have equal tax laws but not equal marriage laws?

Look up the 1989 earthquake. You'll see lots of photos of stick framed Victorians that failed. The highrises (which are designed to withstand earthquakes) are still here.

Would Mozilla appoint someone to CEO who donated $1000 towards a campaign on banning interracial marriage? Is being against same-sex marriage ok as a personal opinion just because we're in the transition period?

Brave thing to say when the Texas state legislature isn't in session to actually do something about this...

The fact that Brendan hasn't publicly changed his position or donated $1000+ to an LGBT organization (to offset his Prop 8 donation) means that this must be a deeply held belief of his. I trust Mozilla will keep him on a short leash, b

Denying people equal standing in society just because of their sexual preference is completely unfair.

At least in the US, land is too cheap. We should be encouraging density as much as possible.

That depends entirely on the climate. That strategy is most successful in climates with high diurnal swings (desert). You really can't go wrong with insulating the hell out of it elsewhere.

For links buried within copy, I agree. For a list of search results where you know every entry is a hyperlink? Pure visual noise and I'm glad it's gone.

Mozilla and Google offer update browsers for XP. Why can't MS do that with their own codebase?
