Do other browsers still not offer this?

A share button in the browser is my favorite solution. Twitter and Facebook aren't tracking you, there aren't embeds to slow down sites, and the user knows where the button is every time.

In theory I still don't like the idea of a content provider owning infrastructure.

I don't understand, wouldn't this be a good investment opportunity with San Francisco growing? Facebook could build its own tower and lease out space for condos, apartments, offices, ground floor commercial, etc. I'm really k

I don't necessarily agree, but I don't think your opinion should be downvoted. Consider this: We as a society have more than enough wealth to give ICU care to every infant that needs it. Our medical system is what makes it expensi

You can already do what I'm describing. It just requires that you have a computer with iTunes running or an iOS device.

It really needs to be able to work without a computer or iOS device. Right now you can't use just storage attached to your router and the AppleTV. Annoying limitation.

You think large for-profit corporate news organizations demonstrate "statist" views? Ha! (NPR is one of the more accurate news organizations in the US for a reason, though.)

Getting a return on 3.2bn seems like a risky bet for Apple. Google has the incentive to bring in Tony Fadell, but his disciples have already shipped many products at Apple.
