They should not be suspended. The IDF regularly posts misinformation, violent and genocidal rhetoric and just insane things. My personal opinion is that the Al Qassam account would have been more professional and offered a more accurate vie

It would definitely be politics to consider them a terrorist group and not resistance fighters.

I think it's going to be very hard for US politicians to make the case to continue to fund Israel. They may get away with it while the Baby Boomers are still around, but it's all but certain to be cutoff in the near future.

I was really shocked to see how many major corporations had large offices in Israel. I don't think that's going to be tenable going forward. Everyone I know is looking for ways to reduce their exposure to Israel. Boycotting Intel

I totally agree. While they're not as good (yet), I will use local models. It's extremely dangerous to have a radical and violent ideology like Zionism at the helm of some of the most powerful tech that exists.

It's really scary to think that his prejudiced and genocidal views are reflected in the LLMs. We've also seen Israel use AI to choose targets (resulting in mostly civilian deaths). It feels like our industry is splitting in two be

I fully agree with you. There are more founders, engineers, designers and product people out there who do as well. I will not work with anyone who supports genocide going forward in my career.

If you watch some of the content in question you’ll see that it actually is often in-depth analysis of history done by younger people. I’ve seen many clips discussing Nakba and the right of return for instance.

Cherry picking a few hashtags is not a credible analysis. That being said, it’s well known that millennials and gen z support Palestine so it’s not surprising a platform with those demographics would have more pro Palestine content.

I tell myself this so I can sleep at night. It's hard though, real people are dying. Beyond that, there's a very real movement from many VCs to blacklist people who aren't pro-Israel. Even going so far as to find employees th

It can't. Clearly dropping tens of thousands of bombs on a densely populated city, with no escape and 50% of the residents being under the age of 18 will result in numbers like this. It's gaslighting to suggest otherwise.

Well, if you're a US citizen, you're involved because billions of your tax dollars are going to fund Israel. Israel is committing a genocide funded by my money. I am unfortunately, partially culpable.

I think you're exposing the problem with neo-liberalism and why the USA are the bad guys. It's not our role to impose our (meaning the establishment's) will on other people. We should not be "spreading" our ideals
