I sometimes prefer a rebase to a merge when pulling in changes from some other branch. It can be easier to deal with several smaller merges than one big one which a rebase accomplishes. This is not always true of course, so I usually start

For many levels the enemies come from "off screen" so there is no base to attack. There are some levels where you are supposed to send troops to destroy the enemy base, but once you beat that level if your base there comes under a

The short answer is that catapult systems are expensive and require a lot of maintenance. Even many Navies don’t use catapult assisted launches for that very reason. Additionally, commercial aircraft aren’t designed for that kind of force a

It probably depends on the scale of your builds, but I’d agree that it seems like a generally better idea to separate your docker image repositories from your source control.

I definitely will not try it if the analytics part are not optional, though I am glad to see you're documenting exactly what gets sent. I might consider trying it and even opt-in to the analytics once you make it optional.

Not only that, but no release in the last year is likely to be missing fixes for security issues on any sufficiently complicated project.

If you want to know if you have it or not you should go get tested by a professional. If you suspect you have it then either you have it and they can help, or you don’t but they can help you improve whatever it is that makes you suspect you

I would say that using switching from Redux to XState is a bit like switching from js to typescript. You get additional rigor but that can of course slow you down and force you to deal with potential issues you might not have otherwise enco

Sure but you have the same problem with useReducer too. If that is a problem then you should be pulling the call to useMachine up to an appropriate level then passing the service down for useService (in xstate) so that changes to the compon

As far as I understand (though I could be mistaken) the xstate hooks ensure that the component only re-renders when the machine has "settled" after a transition. I don't see how the dispatch function from useReducer is any di

Speed - a gradle build computes hashes of all the build steps so it knows when to skip things that don’t need to be run. Spring converted their builds to gradle and were able to cut their builds from an hour to 10 minutes (full-ci bulds).

How you land in the water is key. In the Navy they teach us to point our toes, cross our arms, and basically make ourselves hit as little of the surface as possible when jumping from the top of a tall ship.
