If you haven't seen it before, check out the "Battle of Polytopia". Basically mini-civilization with a few extra races you can buy to support the developer. http://midjiwan.com/polytopia.html

Not really, though they are all grounded until this is fixed anyway. I'd expect them to be safe after this if for no other reason than any pilot of this aircraft is going to end up with special training before they fly.

I doubt this will impact the costs of Foreflight. There is already competition in this space in the form of Garmin Pilot, WingX, and Fltplan Go.

You have to assume something other than a best-case stopping distance because almost all drivers assume they are a "good" driver and will assume they can stop in the minimum distance even when they can't. Most drivers also do

Less air polution for sure, but most of the noise from cars isn't from the engines. It's mostly the noise of tires traveling over pavement.

I don't disagree that it's important to understand when something is purely a proof of concept vs something that will stick around to evaluate the costs. However, the AI systems are still in Fortnite (and they even used those syst

Modern games have only increased the benefits a game studio can gain from testing as well. Games are now moving into service territory which only increases the amount of time spent maintaining the game while continuing to add to it.

I think a lot depends on where you bought the milk from. Our current grocery store milk last much longer than the milk from a previous grocery store. It probably has something to do with temperature in their refrigerator or something.

If that doesn't sound dystopian, I don't know what does. So glad I don't live in a major city with lots of pollution.

30 hour weeks? Don't most people work 40 hour weeks? My first job I worked 60 hour weeks for basically 2 years straight (average, we'd work a ton of hours for a month, then work normal for a week or two, then back up to a ton of h

I have to whole-heartedly agree. My wife and I both got married young as well (23/21), spent the first two years of marriage living in separate states, were broke as crap but not in debt, and came out the other side doing great. I thin

It's not a matter of whether drone operators _can_ learn. It's more a matter of many of them _not_ learning. Why do firefighters still have trouble with drone operators running drones in areas where they are actively fighting fire

Everything works great on my MacBook Pro. No issues with USB-C at all. Having used it for a bit, I'm not a fan of the keyboard, but I use an external ergonomic keyboard for my day-to-day usage so it doesn't bother me.

That's exactly the way you want an emergency to be. Lots of time to deal with the problem so you can make sure you follow all the steps correctly. If they were to have an engine failure on final or at a much lower altitude then things
