Someone upgrading from an Intel Mac to an Apple Silicon Mac doesn't increase Mac marketshare.

> I’d guess lots of people upgrading from Intel Macs Why would you guess that? It's +22% Mac marketshare, not +22% Apple Silicon Mac marketshare.

I still remember apps opening in less than one “bounce” on the OS X dock back in the snow leopard days. That was on a hackintosh with a 7200rpm hard drive. To be honest, I don’t really remember my first real Mac (a Haswell late 2013 MBP wi

I could see there being serious issues with handling "impulse control." Imagine you see an ad, have a brief desire to interact with it, but tell yourself a split second later that you shouldn't. The time delay of using our ph

Given the tighter control that they have, do we expect that Apple and Microsoft already enable these kinds of compiler checks for their respective operating systems? Does Linux generally lag behind in this area?

You couldn’t even pinch-to-zoom a photo when this phone first came out. It dropped frames like crazy. It was definitely a smart phone with a touch screen (and keyboard), but it definitely wasn’t an iPhone in terms of polish.

In Swift, you shouldn't use Optional like this. You should instead make a new type to represent exactly what parameter this function expects: enum AllowList { case all case some([ClientIdentifier]) }

Was about to leave a comment saying the exact same thing. I don't understand how someone makes it this far in a project, and just completely drops the ball when showing the work off to the world. You don't even need to naturally b

It’s Stockholm syndrome mixed with you being an expert at a specific tool. The reality is, Git is unintuitive, and makes nearly every common thing the average person wants to do a complete pain in the ass. I understand you (and I) know how

It’s not micro LED - it’s mini LED. Mini LED uses an array of white LEDs to provide somewhat-localized dimming / illumination. You can get close to true blacks with this, but you might notice a halo around areas since the mini LED arra
