The guide is a bit lacking - I made such a foil based smart mirror and the mirror you get from just a foil is not good. I would more call it a reflective grey surface than a true mirror. So I would suggest getting a proper partially silvere

My definition of a smart AI is an AI that is smart at mimicking a human - that means as a Game AI it would play an entirely different game of "mimicking a human" in essence. The issue is that a lot of things a computer controlled

I build a combined real CO2/ppm monitor 3 years ago and I leaned quite a bit about indoor CO2 accumulates in practice and how to actually prevent it building up at all. This is from a single sensor I moved around over months so I might

We are already cut of from general evolution as long as we have a society that relies mostly on factors externally to genetics. Those factors are so much more rapid and impactful than the slow evolution by procreation and death statistical

I have to agree that that is offline :) I use a picovoice wake-word on my DIY offline Assistant myself (RPI-based) and I was tempted to dig up a STM devkit from somewhere but then I remembered that I probably would want a microphone array f

Thinking about it there aren't many things that are as cheap an durable as steel and aluminum. You surely know how the amount of energy you get out of the panels changes with inclination and just laying them flat is only feasible if yo

For me GIMP has been infuriatingly good - by that I mean its 95% amazing and 5% complete and utter horseshit. Sadly I run into those 5% often. GIMP has the signs of what I call "Brainworms" in a project. By that I mean conceptual-

Good to hear that its not pure hard-headedness that caused this. Sure, but when I look at the development of image editing tools in the 90ies then vector shapes and layer pretty much was widespread by 1998. If I were to guess then the funct

Really? Can you make a shape then adjust it after you made it? Cause I cannot find that - as soon as I fill or stroke the vector it drops into bitmap and can only undone not adjusted.
