I've had the opportunity to work with this project and it does deliver. In terms of code portability it's pretty good. Small changes had to be done to accommodate some yet to be supported APIs. No big deal though. The performance

You won't get real answers here. Go and talk to people in the real estate market and listen to their pain points. Forget about finding actionable data on the web. The real world has it available right now. Just pick up the phone.

There are some very easy introductory tutorials on YouTube to learn chinese. Nothing too amazing but enough to get you moving towards speaking the basic language.

I really hope companies read and learn from this. It is absolutely maddening how bad hiring currently is. As someone who has been on both sides of the hiring process it's just frustrating. If you are being interviewed you are basically

@OP: What is your long term vision for the project? Reason I ask is due to how django keeps (IMO) gaining territory on the corporate and/or business stack. I get requests for support and new development consistently from companies in d

I re-visit my old code. Due to how I'm constantly thinking about how much better it could have been. Not that I doubt my abilities. Its just that I wish I knew back then what I know now. Not only my coding skills, but about the problem

I might be in the area during that weekend. Looking to relocate to Austin. Drop me a line if you are from a Austin based company. Apologize if this comment is out of place.

You bring a valid point. Who you have exposure to is very important. Build solutions to the people you can access. One thing that helped broaden exposure was to begin socializing through relatives or friends that are business owners. It all

I reason that it's not a matter of why are you using Python but more of we/I (must) use/prefer/know Python better than other languages.

I welcome any effort that aims to improve performance and the python Web ecosystem. From the code in the tutorials Falcon feels a little un-pythonic. This is not a criticism. But a comparison from my experience with other python frameworks

It depends how this is setup. If you are using a template engine then I don't see why would this be a big deal if its a technical decision followed throughout the project. If you are not using a template engine and using Javascript to

The Basic Stamp is still a rock solid platform. I know of places using it in production systems without any issues. The problem is how its been replaced in the mind of the hobbyist (at least the younger ones). Before the arduino, you basica

Very nice twist on the Bust a Move[0] gameplay. It reminds me of something that the creator of flappy bird said about how he looks to develop games that can be played with one hand while waiting. The name, though, is not very good. Given th

Agreed. Parallax simply left it in suspended animation. Its a nice chip that would have had a bigger impact had they put the same effort into it as they put into the Basic Stamp. You can still use a Basic Stamp and do lots of fun stuff. Eve

I would start blogging about what you know (if you don't do so already). Focus on explaining how to do X. Then write about your opinions. It can be as short as a paragraph, or as long as a novel. In terms of writing intelligently the k
