Unlikely, it's the world reserve currency. If markets panic, stocks drop, cash becomes more valuable and is held. You can always hedge with crypto and gold if you want.

C is hard to write properly, easy to compile, and lighter than Rust in the final binary size. Gets slightly complex when you start adding lots of third party libraries to link, but nothing out of the ordinary imo.
