Yes but you can strengthen your heart to a degree. Even most anti-cardio lifters eased up a little. I still won't run but I do tabata every other workout.

Love the oldschool eu.org domain but it seems to be just an instance of SearXNG at the moment.

It goes back to the moment you last listened (minus a couple of seconds) by default. Spotify is a decent podcast player, not AntennaPod but OK.

Why garbage platform, it's the best of the social networks. By far. Perhaps the most entertaining site on the Internet. It's really no wonder people use it.

There used to be a large network of electric cars in Warsaw by one of the utilitiy companies, Innogy GO. They had a few hundred cars, very nice BMWs (i3 and i3s), decent prices but, sadly, didn't survive the lockdowns and folded in ear

I thought IPFS is rather poorly suited for piracy since the nodes' addresses are public. There is no onion routing or other protection. Speaking of which, is Freenet still alive?

That was my point: if Google rewarded sites with fewer ads, you would get all the same manipulation and low-quality content but with fewer (but perhaps more expensive and carefully selected) ad blocks. You can have that today.

Page publishers would still have the same incentive to game the system, only putting a smaller numer of ads, perhaps then more expensive and more carefully selected. If you want to live in that world, you can today by running an adblocker.

Brits arrest people for silently praying (so... standing) near an abortion clinic or teaching their dog to do a nazi salute. Not exactly paragons of sound judgement.

Are these biases wrong though? In a hypothetical perfectly spherical chickens in vacuum world, yes, but in reality you probably want some outcome bias for example because you don't control all the variables. So the analysis of percepti

I quite like an esoteric theory but it should at least sound plausible. There is no need for a convoluted explanation with power dynamics and economic system denying people access to food when Americans are clearly suffering no such problem

Bizarre take. Capitalism is so insanely effective that 22% of US teenagers are obese , 25% of all black kids. It may be a disease but it certainly delivers breakfast. And then six more meals, apparently. https://www.cdc.gov/

I know that after initial influx, Mastodon is losing momentum and activity. Both from the article linked and my own experience. Theoretically, Mastodon could tap some previously untwitterized microblogging niche but I haven't seen that

Why would it be impossible online? You can pay anonnymously for Mullvad VPN, or use Tor, or open wifi. It's online that anonymity is even attainable.

My list of m365 complaints is virtually endless. It's nothing major but rather death by 1000 cuts. The focus is almost never where I expect it, the notes overlap each other by defualt, the sync takes enough time to notice every time yo

Yes, basically the only way to sell the one-purpose, well-made solution is to target customers/clients who already got burned with the more popular option. Which means that you confine your product to a small or professional niche.
