If blocking people is the problem, could you not take unlimited PTO in sub-week increments? Plus maybe a couple actual vacations a year near the holidays when people are all blocking each other anyway. Seems like the perfect intersection of

I don't know how much it really counts as "like MailChimp" but Substack is relatively new, and seems to have found its way past the spam filters at least enough to get top-tier VC backing, so if I were trying to solve this pr

I quit Facebook about a year ago and don't miss it at all, but I think I'd really miss Instagram, because about 90% of my feed there is contemporary artists, galleries, curators and critics. At the moment there is (sadly) no othe

I ended up canceling a magazine subscription I’d done with Apple, because there was no way to use my Apple credentials on the web site. It was app-only, and the app was crap compared to the web version. I might resubscribe but… friction…

Interesting, I didn't know payday lending was a thing in Spain. Delaying salary payments serves two purposes: first, to benefit the employer by keeping your money in their account longer; and second, at least culturally, to force y

I don’t think review per se would be such a problem: just charge a per-upload review fee. That might weed out some of the creators who are not yet making any money and can’t/won’t invest in the effort, but is that really a bad thing
