What's with all of this nonsense about 'humility' lately? It's almost as obnoxious as 'entitled'. If the person who posted this link believes that it is Beautiful, then it is. You may agree or disagree but humi

I've had pretty good luck with Airmail, which happily supports Gmail keyboard shortcuts. Might be worth a look.

You are so right about this. I think the only thing worse is that through it all, whatever band you like is NOT METAL. Only the three sub-sub-sub-genres that I like are true metal. Bah. Get off my lawn.

Spoken like someone who either isn't a programmer ( a PM, maybe? ) or is projecting. Programmers don't 'goof off' more than any other group of people. Programming is generally a solitary activity, largely due to the imme

Hmmm.. So this is a SaaS IRC bouncer, in a web-app, without the ability to use an actual IRC client. Seems too limited to be useful. Setting up an IRC server, with a bouncer on a $5/month droplet would be more useful.

For a long time, the whole 'Github profile' stuck in my craw, but recently my thinking has changed to more of a 'show us your code portfolio', which isn't much different than a lot of creative job interviews. When h

I seriously can't believe that there is an entire sub-culture of people that are still trollololing about 'rounded corners' without understanding the context. Design Patents are Different than Technology Patents.

Completely anecdotal, but their rental prices for Redwood City are in line with what I pay. The median prices they list for other cities seem to be in line with what I'm seeing looking at different places to live as well.

There are really several layers of issues to deal with in regards to the JVM. First, the JVM really IS NOT a great choice to build other languages on. It wasn't designed for it; In fact before invokedynamic, it was nearly impossible.
