Because sometimes, assertions seem to be so absurd, that they require clarification. If someone said, I would NEVER program in Ruby, because Hash Rockets, I would ask the same question.

Interestingly, that's why a lot of my colleagues and I dropped .Net (and Java) like a bad habit... Singleton, IOC, Dependency injection, GoF hell. NOT that PHP is a good alternative; Only different perspectives on the same issues.

I was thinking the same thing. The negotiation was interesting, but 70K in the city, even with a rent subsidy from the company is tough. Hopefully they don't have a lot of overhead beyond eating.

He means "scale the number of people working on the project at one time." He's basically saying that if you have 10 files and 2 developers the chances of collision (or merging issues) is small, but having 20 developers working from 10 files
