One JVM is, yes. That’s exactly my point.

by bitbckt 6y ago
Referring to Hotspot as a “feature” of the JVM is a gross mischaracterization. A JVM is not Hotspot, and Hotspot is not a part of “the” JVM.

There is strong opposition to any sort of national registry which might be used to "categorize" citizens for any purpose. That distrust is further compounded by general distrust in a strong federal government. The whole concept o

They weren’t always numbered. Up north, there are still people who refer to Highway 40 as Lincoln Highway. I’ve heard a couple of LA natives say that’s an explanation for SoCal’s affinity for calling them “the 5”: they switched from “the Sa

More anecdata: I’ve worked with a handful of EB-1 holders. I wouldn’t qualify a single one as “exceptional.” Fine coworkers, sure, but to a one the justification for EB-1 strained credulity. I have however worked with several H1-B holders o

I couldn’t agree more with the parent. Further, PIC isn’t the only “non-ARM” in this space. Your average RainBird type water timer likely uses an MSP430, for example. The idea that ARM should be used in any/all situations is naive.
