Laws and the adherence to those laws generally fall into managing a country, no? So saying "But other countries did it!" with respect to something like prohibition doesn't really work, apples to apples. My point is simply tha

I hope you're seeing the irony when discussing the difficulty of managing a very large country, by referencing 10 much smaller countries with their own systems of government.

Yeah - I believe this person believes that a set of data in its original state gets full-deleted. I do not believe that that data, in all of its forms, gets deleted from all of its storage locations. I'd hazard a guess that Google does

I wouldn't believe that Google deletes data even if they wrote it in stone.

My statement is more about what I would _like_. Meaning, if Google is saying 'If you stop using google products, 2 years later we will full delete all of your data', I would spot using them today, right now. If there is grey area,

From your post, I think you might fundamentally misunderstand Docker's use/value. From a value-add standpoint, Docker doesn't really care about "isolating shared library dependencies", but instead, compartmentalizin

I agree with you, but I am also a person that just wants someone to do it. Anyone at all, really. City governments are failing fantastically in major tech hubs, I kind of just think fuck it. Let some chowderhead tech goon take a shot at sol

I worked for a mobile games publisher in my last job. 30% platform fee, followed by a 30/70 split on revenue (70 to the dev, 30 to the publisher). It's a tough market. Combined with less profitable ad monetization and paid install

The comment you are responding to is comparing the USA in the 70s to the USA today. Your response seems to imply you think they are saying that in the US, we do not have it easy. That is not the argument they were making.

Salary will depend heavily on where you want to live. As someone else commented, SF salaries are insane. If you don't live in SF, your salary will not be that insane. Seattle/New York will be close.

The last try, I installed Ubuntu on my desktop and checked the 'Auto Login on Start' box on setup, which broke the UI and required a CLI fix. It wasn't hard (because I'm a dev and it was easy to troubleshoot/fix), b
