Not to mention the visual pollution it may cause. I honestly don't think this is going to fly pun intended.

What you are describing already exists and it's much cheaper, it just doesn't have macOS in it.

For the same price you can buy a much better "Pro" PC though.

I wouldn't call anything close to cross-platform if it only works on Apple's products and devices.

For many users high contrast is enhanced when it's dark. See Windows High Contrast Mode as an example.

I must admit I have not been following this case too close. But I get the general sense that most people in the CS community is in favor or Google and against Oracle. I'd like to understand it better. Can someone please explain in tec

Godot has caught my eye a bunch of times but I'm still not quite convinced to use it yet. I guess I need to just try it.

This quote gets thrown quite often in the gaming community but I'm pretty sure it's taken out of context (In fact I can't find the source for it). But I'm sure Miyamoto context was 1 to 2 years max and not 10 years. I sa

There's also accessibility. If I'm using a screen reader on Mobile such as VoiceOver or TalkBack, how do I pull to refresh? It would way easier if there was a button.

This is probably the most important reason. Microsoft is doubling down on cloud, and they are willing to do anything to get ahead in this game. This is the sole reason why stocks are going up for Microsoft.

I guess just drop the comparison with Qt or other similar things. Just highlight that you can build native applications using React syntax. This alone is a good argument, no point on comparing, really. Only if you want to compare performanc

Sometimes I ask myself if the unsettling feeling I felt in Diablo was because I was too young and impressed by the horror. But I believe it's just that people can't make good games anymore.

What you are missing is that they knew about it all the time but did nothing until a big "scandal" like this happened. It's a problem with trust now.

Not defending Intel, just trying to understand their position other than just being negligent. Wouldn't it undermine most users if the security flaw had leaked before major OS fixed it? The more you share, the easier it is for a leak t

With buses you would still have traffic problems even if in theory it would help reduce traffic. As long as we have humans driving vehicles, there will traffic. Realistically, this won't change any time soon (probably never). It is muc

I don't agree, for critical actions such as this it needs some level of protection that can be handled by trained professionals. e.g. You do not want to make it easy to send a nuclear bomb, but you also need to make sure that if there&

As stated in the article, git is also challenging for game development because of the large asset files. Git has limitations and they are part of the reasons a lot of companies and even indie game devs didn't jump into it (Jonathan Blo

I actually think Visual Studio does refactoring pretty well. It is not a new innovation from Apple. Xcode, in this case, is just catching up with a much needed feature and I still think it's not quite there.
