Is there any other service that allowed you to play AAA titles with nothing more than a Wi-Fi enabled controller and an inexpensive dongle plugged into any TV?

Strongly concur on Stadia—a product way ahead of its time. As for the Google ecosystem, I don’t have everything Google—I more often go for best-of-breed—but, for the Google things I do have, I love how well they work together. A bit of ha

I love my E14 Gen 2. It’s actually sturdier than some of my other ThinkPads and I bought it on a whim with the explicit purpose of running ChromeOS Flex—works flawlessly.

Please know, in the USA, when you customize the device, you don't get to choose your operating system. It's Windows or Windows.

Ouch. I've been using ChromeOS more lately, and Windows less, and I'm really appreciating the Linux environment within ChromeOS. I haven't experience any of the issues you noted in this environment, but it does run as a conta

Perhaps. I meant it more in the context of the Google Play Store policies as a whole, and they are voluminous, and not just this specific case.

Unfortunately, as you noted, the game is rigged and you have to play within the sandbox provided. With that, and as you also noted, your testing simply needs to be better, especially since this is a customer-facing app and not an app that&#

While I concur with the author on the challenges of Android development, the author made two major mistakes. One, he didn't test his app on the latest version of Android. This a very major mistake and the reason why we keep 11 virtual

It's very simple for me. The three devices are rather specialized. The phone always comes with me, so that's a given. The tablet is primarily for content consumption (why use my tiny phone screen for this when my nice 10-inch tabl

Nice. OpenBSD does something similar, with the difference being that there are no exemptions for specific software—they expect developers to fix their broken programs.

Debian was my first Linux. Since then I mostly use OpenBSD—love its simplicity—but whenever I need to take full advantage of modern hardware I head back to Debian (usually the Testing release).

The article doesn’t talk about a fix—scary. I know OpenBSD uses a similar SSL-based method for time keeping on startup, but I’ve never experienced an issue like this.

This is exactly how I use YouTube. My biggest issue is the sponsored ads that get in the way of me paying not to have ads. I hope they find a solution for this.

Seconded, and I develop apps in my spare time. The stores tend to promote the apps that generate the most revenue; often times the best app for your needs is not the one that's making the most money.
