I am an avid reader of `/r/reactiongifs` and `/r/highqualitygifs`. Classification is done by hand, and the idea anyway is to use feedback (either slack reactions or voting on the site) to figure out what the best tag for

I wanted to see how hard it would be to build a gif search engine, I made https://gifffy.com in a month. My buddies and I used it for our personal slack instead of giphy. It is nice to be able to adjust the search results oursel

NYC has subways that extend out to less dense / borderline suburban neighborhoods. Though ridership to these terminals is much lower than in manhattan and northern brooklyn and queens, they're still an important way for some peopl

T-Mobile is an example of cellular companies responding to tight competition and differentiating by removing caps / usage fees. The key is competition though, as you've pointed out.

It's not my first reaction, it's not something I do when I'm traveling, but it's either be slightly loud and aggressive or just suffer in silence. I chose the former.

Obviously not the same but I've had this happen in a couple places and I just say "FUCK OFF" as loud as I can and get visibly upset and they leave me alone after that.

"Attention Economy" is a nice term. FWIW I both love and hate remixes; sometimes they bring out an aspect of the track that artist didn't emphasize enough in the original mix. Sometimes the remixer makes an entire new song fr

Also time.Time (which could be thought of as two int64s) Even string ordering there is a lot left up to the implementation as far as how it is done. Do capitals come first? Does capitalization not matter? etc. For non-intrinsic types you wo

Another approach to this (this is used to good effect in LINQ) is to skip the `Less(i,j)` and just provide a value extractor, except golang makes that super verbose because you'd have to do `func(v interface{}) interface{}` The idea wo

In NYC (and I think San Francisco) it's illegal to sleep on the sidewalks. NYPD enforces this pretty consistently, SFPD on the other hand I'm pretty sure they just do it to make sure the person isn't dead.

It is possible for people to be good at self promotion without needing a PR agency. Some people have the hubris to put themselves out there, and are skillful enough to be successful at it. Not everyone is like that, and we do dole a great d
