Even the article mentions this: "Experts warn whole or chopped nuts and peanuts are a choking risk and should not be given to children under five."

I was under the impression that you can cheat yourself a bit by eating unlimited food but low-cal. Vegetables are one way (they're mostly water and fiber), but I'm not a picky eater and mostly eat to feel full, not for the taste s

Adulthood was what did it for me. : - ) I'm theorizing that it's at least 2 factors: lack of PE (2.5h a week of forced exercise - gone), & reaching legal drinking age (I lost the most weight when pausing drinking for a bit). T

Safe investment means you're not risking losing the money, not that there will never be a better opportunity (that may be just as safe). Alternative cost is not really coming into play here IMO.

The point of the comment is that all 3 terms refer to the same thing. `git add` modifies staging area, `git diff --cached` shows the diff of things in the staged area, and `git stash --keep-index` stashes things that haven't been stage

When the state has a monopoly on something, does it really matter? It's not like you can go to the competition to renew your driver's license...

You don't even need to go to reddit; any work of literature that has a villain that behaves in a misleading way towards their enemy (e.g. by giving incorrect information) would suffice here IMO.

If it's statistically likely to tell you bad information "on purpose" after already telling you that you are a bad user, does it even matter if it's intelligent or self-aware? Edit: added quotes around "on purpose&q

No reason why it can't be both. The only way to know for sure is to ask the author of the recipe that you're reading. :)

Is it steeper than Spring St roughly from the waterfront to the library? ; ) In any case, if it's a workout to walk the distance in 15m, then it's not really a 15m walk. I can cover way more ground in 15m if the assumption is that

First off, thanks for the explanation in your other post! The main point I had is that there are gotchas when talking about improvements in R-value in terms of percentages that we the uninitiated won't be aware of. U-value doesn't

Naive question: is reduction in energy loss linear with R-value or is there a different relationship? Improvement of R-value by 35% tells me nothing if the function to calculate energy loss does something strange with the R-value afterwards
