It is not as big of a problem as you think for 3 reasons. 1. Intel has purchased capacity from TSMC which will presumably be used for Xe HPC. 2. TSMC does not have enough capacity for AMD to take significant market share 3. Intel still has

The US Government tries the same trick. Social Security is a called an "insurance program" although it is completely unrelated to conventional insurance. The closest financial instrument is a Ponzi scheme, which is illegal under U

Your argument is as naive as saying politicians act in the best interest of their voters or that companies act in the best interests of their consumers. Entities act in the best interests of themselves.

Why do you get to decide what a fair wage is, or what a positive force in the economy is? Taxis are an obsolete service, Lyft and Uber are overwhelmingly favored by customers and businesses.

The heart of the issue is big labor unions want more power, and independent contractor status is a threat to their power.

I just willingly put one of these tracker in my car. I barely drive anymore due to Covid and USAA is attempting to charge me 180 per month. Metromile lets me pay 70 dollars a month + 12 cents a mile. No brainier decision at that price point

Your chain of causality is actually completely wrong. At 15 dollars an hour only a few companies can hire unskilled workers. At 1 dollar an hour many people can pay workers that amount, so there is more competition out there for wages. The
