This is a good way to think about it. My parents were able to buy a 4br mostly modern rambler home when they were in their early 20s with one blue collar income.

Maybe instead of arguing about land use we can just agree to build generation where it makes the most sense (the empty and consistently sun soaked desert) and just focus on building transmission.

From your first link: > The true scale of social costs is rarely considered… Yep, that is pretty much what I was expecting. Some hand waving and lecturing about qualitative, subjective externalities. This is social commentary and opinion

I guess I always thought the two challenges in the city were entering/leaving and parking. There doesn’t seem to consistently be TOO much traffic when you’re just trying to get around Manhattan.

Articles like this are incredibly disingenuous. Tying fossil fuel use to every weather event that deviates from the mean only causes people to tune out. If the goal is to have the words “climate change” to retain any meeting, they need to b

Tesla took enormous risk building out a charging network and designing hardware. They aren’t entitled to gouge but please explain why they shouldn’t be allowed to profit from being a huge first mover?

So, because someone is manipulated with sex means they aren’t worth pity? Wanting sex or being lonely isn’t wrong, it’s a human need.

Wow, not a single ounce of pity in what you wrote. These people are being manipulated because of their loneliness and you’re OK with reducing the situation to: “stupid sex starved simp got what they deserve”.
