I don't imagine the world to be a nice place. I think we're coming from different philosophical view points. Murder is going to happen, I would say we should try and prevent it, not just accept that it is going to happen. Yes, tha

Maybe? You still have to trust the original compiler, and you still can't rely on reading the source. You just have to hope that the simple compiler is simple enough to read at the machine code level, and trust your file system /

Ah ok. Well the fact remains you have an exhaust with elevated nox. So the 3 options are to stop the nox being created to start with (no nitrogen), convert the nox into something else (nitrous oxide?) or release/store/use the nox

You could argue that an equal retirement age is equality though. Otherwise anyone with a health condition that shortens their life span could argue that they should be able to retire earlier.

Could you not get it to produce nitrous oxide instead? Or can nox be used as an oxidiser like nitrous oxide? If the byproducts are a liquid an a gas, seems like it would be easy to separate the two. Or is there a cheap source of nitrogen le

Yes, I can sort of understand an existing law staying in place because of inertia, but introducing a new law in this day an age just seems weird. You are literally asking men to pay more towards the state (in time) than women.

I kind of disagree. 1s aren't generally the type to start their own business, 2s are so you aren't going to be competing on technical merits. Yes 3 is always valid. But I don't think you need to be the best individual at anyt

Absolutely, I'm not saying a 64bit instruction length with 5/6/7/8 bits of registers would be bad per se. In fact I'd be interested to see where it leads. But if you have a processor that also uses 16 bit instructio

Well you can embed longer immediates directly in the opcode. You could have a lot more registers. The first example, I'm not sure you'd want a full 64bit encoding space. You still aren't going to be able to load a 64bit immed
