I find when I start worrying about what my desk looks like that I’m just procrastinating. I have noticed no correlation between my desk being messy or stylish with actual focus and productivity.

They do though, they've asked me on the iPhone if I want to have personalised ads, and I said no. Now I don't get personalised ads.

I’m more concerned with overly rigid planning and zoning rules distorting the ability for high demand to increase motivation for supply.

The two things that stand out for me would be: 1. Set deadlines, and hold people to them. Repeatedly missing deliveries means an end to the engagement. 2. Sunk cost. He should have fired this agency much earlier instead of throwing good mon

Yeah that was my general feeling. I'm paying upwards of £40k for the car and the first day I press a button and get told I can "buy" the feature, not a good experience.

The local taxis in my town don't seem to every want to take fares. They seem to be eternally waiting for a better offer and grumpy if you try to take what they consider to be a small trip. Never had that issue with Uber drivers.

I wasn't particularly impressed when I got my new 4 series and had to pay £20 or something like that for auto-highbeams, even if it is a one off. I can sort of understand a subscription for the speed camera data, although its a bit che

This is really cool. In the last couple of years of my grandad's life the most useful thing we got him was a walking aid that had a tray and a basket on it. It made such a difference for him being able to move things around his flat an

It’s handy in a bunch of places. Like the go menu, if you have that open and hit option you get some more power user locations. Also it’s Command, Shift and Period to toggle showing hidden files.

The answer to some of those is just the alt key though in fairness. Hidden files is just a keyboard shortcut.

Sadly, no. We're actually going to pay them for a bunch of their marketing tools because, as shitty as it is, customers really do respond well to seeing reviews on there and they trust them more than testimonials on our site. I thought

It's worth pointing out this is still beta 1 and Craig Federighi said they are actively working on it still in his chat with Gruber. The specific part of that chat for those interested: https://youtu.be/WfnvsepVJC0?t=24

An issue we had with trust pilot is that we got a bunch of our users to give us reviews, and then trust pilot cut 40% of them based on whatever they have going on in the backend, they couldn't tell us. That for a small company is quite

I find the general feeling here is that the system isn't perfect, but none are really and what we have has worked for a long time and there isn't much desire to change it. We'd just be switching for the baggage of an elected

We already have a non political head of state. I’m not sure I see any benefit in us switch to a system like Italy or Germany.

DO's lack of SQS type offering seems even more strange with a product like that. What are people using to plug this gap?

Personally, I thought the content was good and then the plug at the end was fine. It didn't detract from the content in any way that I could tell or make me suspicious of your motives.
