Almost everything that wants to send me a notification get put into scheduled summary on my phone. It’s much easier to deal with them a few times a day rather than at random times.

I'm surprised you guys don't eat much duck, it's also really good. Do you eat goose? We often have that instead of Turkey, although it's a lot smaller.

I remember the first time I had mutton curry in the Middle East. I thought it was going to be gross, turns out it's delicious. It does seem a shame its not more common in the west.

If you don't offer me Apple Pay and skip the whole payment step, you better offer something I can't get anywhere else because otherwise, I'm bailing.

I assume because there are several great tools for handling this so it’s not really a priority. If and when they do add one we can look forward to the many articles about “sherlocking” though so that’ll be fun.

In the UK, my provider has a thing called Intelligent Octopus that allows them to control when my car charges. They offer me discounted rates (41p KWH vs 7.5p KWH) if I charge between 2330 and 530, but I can plug it in when I get home, and

I think my current BMW is probably going to be peak design for me. All of the driving and climate controls are physical click-y buttons. It still has a touch screen for ancillary stuff that I don't need when driving which is fine, but

I think an argument can be made that all jobs are temporary jobs. If you're increasing headcount during a period of high growth then there is often hope that the growth continues enough to support those numbers when things taper off bu

Cuts off tax dodgers too. I have heard of people that had a lot of problems when the notes changed over because they had tens of thousands of old notes from cash in hand work over the years that hadn't been declared.

I'm pretty often surprised by how good AWS premium support is. Every time I've asked them a question they seem to have gone to quite the lengths to gather information even when the issue isn't really theirs.

We do something similar on the non-tech side. We offer a saas product but most of our questions are more around how the person should be doing their job rather than how to use our software so we have a small team of experts that can answer
