Great term. Sometimes, I think I must live on a different continent. It comes down to interest I think, for someone with a bunch of devices and online all the time it sounds great when the EU forces USBC through for example. Even though the

This is the exact problem though, noone really cares what the law says, they care that now they have annoying cookie banners. They don't blame the businesses for this; they blame the EU. The more of this they layer on the more ordinary

Great car. Suffers from some of the touchscreen-itis but nowhere near the Tesla nonsense. Not even in the same ballpark.

I think my BMW X5 has the best middle ground for buttons vs touchscreen. I think in the new one they've moved more towards my i4 setup though which is too far on the touch screen. The X5 has nice push buttons on the steering wheel for

You're asking me why the real world works like it does. Citizens vote from a handful of candidates that have competing priorities. One of those priorities is going to be supporting the huge companies that support them, even if it'

Maybe it's a mismatch in requirements. For me, I move it into greyscale to give my monkey brain less reason to want to play with it. The intention when it's enabled is that if I need to set a timer or jot down a note that I don&#x

Most of it is just in focus modes settings: alerts, notifications and things like that. For greyscale you use shortcuts. There’s an automation tab, you set up on a focus mode being enabled then “set color filters on” and then the opposite f

You can do a lot of this on an iPhone if you use focus modes and automations. I have a deep work mode that sets a blank Home Screen, turns off always on display, sets the phone to greyscale and only allows notifications from my wife. It fee
