Maybe they mean that it either doesn’t matter in context or it’s easy to catch and correct. Either way it seems reasonable to trust the judgement of the professional reporting on their experience with a new tool.

Possible in principle, very hard in practice, even with full access to necessary asml machines and with a lot of experience and expertise without the difficulty of stealing incomplete information. They certainly can’t “just” do that, no :-)

Regarding your last question - well who knows, for sure, but: chess between humans is alive and well after the computers became unbeatable by humans. I recently listened to an interview with magnus Carlsen on Joe rogan and found the angle o

You’re not wrong, but your point doesn’t diminish the point of the post. Maybe we should discuss one topic at a time so we can make progress somewhere without the implication that progress that isn’t everywhere is progress nowhere?

Just the bare minimum; calendar yes, and Gmail so I don’t have to burden strangers with my vanity e-mail domain (fast mail). Oh yeah and I’m a huge YouTube user which I pay for. (So I suppose it’s not the bare minimum.) I also don’t like a

Your question is loaded with a harsh generalization. The level of discourse at best can be generalized to a person, not to all people on a website.

It’s not black and white, so I won’t argue for black or white, but an important factor to me is: ddos eventually stops and then everything is back to normal; no permanent damage is done.

In fairness, I get what you’re saying, but I think there is some legitimacy to it. First, I believe that this term has been introduced by the us government, so it’s not the crackpots laundering the conspiracy themselves by using a new term.

Agreed that is a fine piece of work. But the author is Chris Domas. Which is plain from the repo readme, but it’d be clearer to link to his repo.

Decompilation is primarily intended to be consumed by humans, I.e. to make the assembly more understandable because it’s written in functions, ifs, and for loops; it’ll likely not compile at all and if it does not to the original firmware.

+1 here. Peak beaglebone DX to me was the beaglebone white. Full Soc documentation, and only a single usb cable to carry power, jtag, and serial. A gem of a device and hmm maybe I should write some code for one again..

Well said. This is the only quality discussion forum I’ve ever seen on the internet; in fact given the common trend of other forums I’d given up on it being possible. Then I learned the magic formula: the hard work of smart and active and m

Thank you ; it’s kind of you to write such a thoughtful, thorough reply. In my original comment, when I wrote timezone, I actually didn’t really mean one of many known civil timezones (because it’s not), but I meant “timezone string configu

I wish there were a TAI timezone: just unmodified, unleaped, untimezoned seconds, forever, in both directions. I was surprised it doesn’t exist.

Yes, but there are many different fpga’s, many of which many verilog will run on, which to my mind makes the downsides of proprietyness low enough that this might be the sweet spot to stop at going down the stack.. however awesome an open s

It’s that a bit of an unfair sabotage? Naturally, humans couldn’t do it, even though they could edit the input to remove the X’s, but shouldn’t we evaluate the ability (even intelligent ability) of LLM’s on what they can generally do rather

No love for a verilog design in an fpga as open source hardware? It’s a flawed surrogate of course - lower performance and higher cost than an asic produced at volume - but the open source hardware aspect is very strong.

In my opinion (as some who recently moved out of a big city) it would be very valuable to have an easy way to meet local HN’rs. Either for group sessions or 1-1 or something in between. I think you’re drawing premature conclusions from the
