That's not really what the article is about. Quick Edit: Seems to me that this is more about "Hey, don't forget there's also this" and taking the chance to "teach a quick lesson" about how dumb the concept of stealing ideas is and not to fe

But, the students that do care about the course are dissuaded from plagiarizing their work. If my experience in uni is any telling, people who get caught copying/plagiarizing will do it again. If you cut the easy access of the more hard-wor

Many regular users beg to differ. At least, in my experience, the people who are less familiar with computers are the ones that love the new features the most. Especially launchpad and such. Also, just curious, but what about Lion / Mountai

As an habitant of Juarez, one of the cities that was hit the most with Calderon's war against drugs, this is insulting. We all know it's impossible to end drug trade. That's why most cities had this sort of "understanding" with the cartels.

There's a great book on this by Anna Anthropy (auntie pixelante) http://www.indiebound.org/book/9781609803728 Being a gamer my whole life, it's sad to see how the industry has been in a rut ever since the PS2 era. As of late however, it's

Well. I don't know the details. But wouldn't facebook benefit from having social results in google a-la google+? ... If this data was crawlable / more open, wouldn't google be able to include facebook results to personalize search?

I think it's multi touch gestures, not "Lion's Scrollbar". Honestly, I love the feature and use it all the time and I like the fact that I can see when I initiated it and just unscroll to sotp the action. I don't think it's such a big deal.

Yeah. And it's weird because with steam sales I get the opposite feeling. It's because I'm so used to them probably. I think it's the fact that the bundle used to be a rare happening and now there's a new one at the end of the month. I'll g

I agree. I used to get really excited about the humble bundle. They had a few noteworthy games per bundle (All the games they have are good, but some are less known than others). Now that it's a monthly affair I get the initial perception t

SFXR and CFXR have been two of the most useful tools I've had while developing games. So simple yet so flexible. I really recommend them for any game developer.

Some of these designs look very nice. Some others made my brain hurt as I couldn't figure out how the data was structured. They may not work for the gmail blog, but they may be perfect for certain "tumblresque" blogs.

This is nice :) It's an "Infinite monkeys and infinite typewriters" kind of thing. I like when these sort of patterns emerge in random series.

In the end, isn't user's choice a compelling factor in deciding such matters? We know what you're trying to do, but you can't force people to be social, at least not without some awkwardness and discontent. Let us speak clearly: They tell u

I see how this is cool, but weren't we trying to separate style information from the program logic? ... This seems like a step back into PHP spaghetti code.

I have something personal against spec work, and this site seems to be all about it. It's sad that this kind of behavior is becoming more standard. But, what can one do if not educate future professionals not to take it.

A userscript could easily achieve this, no? just extend the width of .wk-today and .tg-col-today. I guess the agenda view would be harder. I'll try this as soon as I get home.
