I’ve been using built in Maildir support for many years now (at least since early 2018, perhaps as early as 2013) and it works flawlessly, no extension needed. What extension are you using and why? The mail store conversion feature is still

... but that was only the "Postgres" release. The project now known as postgres was started in 1985 or so, with early demos and releases in the 1980s. And it probably traces actual code back to Ingres in 1982. https://e

Little Snitch can be setup whichever way you like, but the default/recommended way is for it to ask the user about every connection attempt, which you can then approve or deny (for a limited time, or forever). Little Snitch is a gate.

About ~20 years ago, I discovered that using WinSock's "select()" on Win2K can give you microsecond sleep resolution with reasonable (100us or so) precision. It was still that way on XP, I have no idea if it stayed that way f

Did you turn off "powernap" in settings? By default, a mac would wake up to download mail, run backups, and do other things in the middle of the night.

I learned APL on a mainframe over 30 years ago, which is not something I'd recommend (also, you're unlikely to have access to one), but rumor says Dyalog has good tutorials, such as "Mastering Dyalog APL", see links here

You actually should exercise while fasting. When fasting, t he body gets rid of fat, and any muscles that are not essential. Which makes a lot of sense - maintaining muscle costs both protein and energy, even if they aren’t used much. I did
