Their sales and support approach to Meet hardware is also abysmal. If they sold hardware direct, supported it through an official channel, and had reasonable documentation around it, they would slay, especially for customers who already hav

Yep, I’ve certainly seen the same for big companies, but some of them are kind enough to list a requirement that is a dead giveaway, like: “Candidates for Solutions Architect 4 at X Corp preferably have three or more years of experience as

In my experience, fixing ground ops would be the biggest boon to efficiency and customer satisfaction. My experience these days from doing a lot of domestic flying in the U.S. is that lack of ground coordination (takeoff queues, gate availa

I definitely would expect real photos of the person on LinkedIn, and everyone I know who hires will look on LinkedIn as a confirmation of the resume. Not sure if this is a vector to enable bias or not, but it’s a reality of hiring for many.

That’s a fair criticism. Having any kind of profile image I think is preferable to the default, because then it distinguishes you from someone who signed up a day ago. So it doesn’t have to be a photo of you, it could be a photo of your cit

I would hazard a guess that most pure recruiters aren't looking at your GitHub profile other than ensuring that you've provided one. The hiring manager or interview team, however, might be interested in it. Here are some things th

The notion that the Bay Area contains all the wisdom about high-growth, VC-backed success, if true, seems to me like a great opportunity for those who have been successful at it in the Bay Area to consult for those who want to replicate it

For the ten-thousandth time: getting banned on Facebook is not censorship. When it gets brought up in other countries, it is the governments of those countries doing it. Facebook can do what it wants here. If you don't like it, divest.
