Wow. It does. Wild. I literally saw the toe end of a shoe there, due to the darker colour. I wonder how many others will see that first, or if I'm just borked. (I had to go back, stare at it, enlarge the pic, stare some more, then

I don't know why, but the picture of the shoe, with the knot at the toe end of the shoe, makes me angry. I mean, literally angry, very angry, yet there is zero valid reason to be that emotionally charged about it. Intellectually, I wo

While this is true isn't it helpful to make people feel included. In some cases, I found it the opposite. I've discussed this with a woman or two, as I was curious, and didn't want to offend. And they felt it includes t

Some of this is so colloquial. Where I live, 'guys' is even used by women, when speaking to a group of other women. People assuming how they use language, is right, assumes that there is one language, eg, one english, not many. V

Governments have banned many things, wildly popular things, even in democratic nations. While I agree popularity reduces risk, some Governments have banned alcohol for years, or how about even banning certain types of securities (2008 cras

There is nothing wrong with hair loss, it is perfectly natural, even when young and it doesn't mean you are getting old, not even a little bit, it even can look good, OK?

While essentially true, I find what leapt to my mind amusing. I pictured a mob enforcer, beating on a guy, but stopping @ 2 hours for his 15 minute break.

No major disagreement, but I will add this... Eating too much, borrowing more money than you should, eating junk food, staying up too late, being addicted to your phone, texting whilst driving, perhaps these are all the same problem? And li

And yet people get up before dawn to go fishing and hunting. At no point did I cite biology. Instead, I validated that different wake-up times have existed in the past, and in fact still do. When does the garbage man, the builder, the mech

Not to mention, people like to work on things with meaning or value. Google cancels so many things, so much work and code tossed, and with entire projects, the point of entire projects axed, how can anyone there feel there's a point

I grew up in rural Canada, and we had busses. Some kids came in from 60+ miles away. I recall quite a bit about school, and yet no one really complained about getting up at 5 to 6am. Of course, most kids lived on farms, some even had chor

The purpose of cloth/lower quality masks, is to reduce, not eliminate spread. When breathing in, air is drawn around the edges. Thus, if the virus is airborne around you, you'll breath it in. If you have the virus, and are exhal

While ocean pollution is a problem, a big one, the article above says '103 tonnes' of garbage was hauled up. And this, over 48 days, and a large section of sea?! That's literally nothing. How much garbage do you think a sma
