I used to be super into my cooking knives, but after a decade of using everything from rubber handled target chef knives to 300+$ japanese art-work knives, I've learned that it's better to buy a 40 dollar chef knife every 3 years

Gun channels have almost all been demonetized. In fact, just about every vertical is "demonetized" in large portions of their content creators. It's almost like youtube is the only one profiting at scale, weird.

Playing on a 4 year old gaming PC with a 1080. Have had no real problems in the 50ish hours I have in. A little sluggish through some of the open world parts until I dialed the graphics back to "high". I think part of the proble

The question on the 4473 says "are you an unlawful user of.." That requires both currency (are you...) and breaking a law (unlawful). Please don't spread misinformation.

Why is it wrong? If the end stage of that chick is an adult that costs more to feed than it's worth, causes a price increase to consumers, and it still ends up killed and processed in some way, why not just humanely kill it instantly?

Nothing in industry to that scale goes to waste. It makes money, whether in pet feed, animal feed, or stock as someone below mentioned (that's news to me). It may seem unsavory to some but if there were a more profitable use of the c

I'm so sick of seeing New Zealand get praise for it's response. Just like Iceland, it's a tiny ass island, and yes - if you close your borders, don't produce or import anything globally, of course you'll knock it o

I think your point of "cost considerations" is at the heart of what bothers me about this paper. The laws about seatbelts, car seats, etc. came at the same time as a general sense of more parental responsibility as a whole. A fe

Media is one of the most complicated problems we face in this age. We have on one side a desire for information to be free, and on the other side a desire to profit for one's labor. The middle ground between that is to attract people
