Many board games are funded through crowdfunding, which regularly reach 7 figures, so there is big money here. There has been controversy recently about YouTube “reviews” of active kickstarters which are actually undisclosed paid promotion,

The government mostly hires staff on 3 year contracts anyway. Not much different to a 2 year consultancy contract, except the hourly rate is 3x as much.

In my industry (rail, which admittedly is more keen on system safety than most) this would absolutely be the responsibility of the designer not the user. Poor safety in design, simple as that.

Spotify’s trick when it first launched is that search and playback was so fast it almost felt like you had all the music in the world on your hard drive. Unfortunately I cannot think of a single thing that has gotten better about Spotify

If it was just about AI scraping they could have given the third party reader apps a free pass on API fees. The recorded phone calls from the Apollo developer have reddit agreeing with the dev’s suggestion that it is about the opportunity c

I mean you have signal uninstalled so I’m not sure how you’d be across who is using it. 99% of my messages are sent on Signal with 100ish contacts including all bar two of my friends who I message regularly. But I would never think to sugg

“They’re” works perfectly fine (albeit a little grammatically awkward) if you aren’t sure of someone’s gender anyway. Not sure why the above comment felt compelled to correct.

An observation from my parents (who are now retired but were both career teachers/school administrators) is that for many teachers their entire life is spent in a school or uni, without a lot of "real world workplace experience&qu

In risk management you have to look at the likelihood as well as the risk. A camera or mic attack are far less probable on my phone as you need many more failures / aligned holes in the Swiss cheese systemic risk model. Which is both b
