I didn't mean to imply monitor. I meant to say keep a history and mediate. AKA, if you have a message board and someone says something offensive you can get rid of that user. Monitor to me implies mitigating users based on ML, histo

My suggestions to mitigate this issue are as follows: 1) Educate readers that it is not ok to harass your Authors (or anyone really) but I get that your job is to protect your people. 2) Protect your authors through anonymity and teaching t

I would agree if it was the case that Niantic was targeting this specific beach, but instead it's all beaches because the algorithm distributes Pokemon evenly throughout the world regardless of location (this isn't the actual case

Where does personal responsibility come in to play? Seriously? Why does Niantic need to tell me not to trespass? I could see this being a problem if pokemon ONLY spawned on these beaches that would be targeted sending of players to restri

I worked for the FAA on these sorts of Risk Analysis Panels when I was younger. It's basically a trade-off of the likely damage or impact (a rating something like stubbed toe to everyone on the plane dies) vs the chance it will happen

This is part of why I was able to pull my question together the way I did. I read that book and I feel like it changed my perspective. It shows the damage that happened to individuals but it doesn't stick with how people responded af

I like your note at the end and I agree with you. If you are being used for some other form of monetary benefit then ads don't make sense to me. I would apply this model to, if I pay for TV don't give me ads too. Either raise yo

Is Framery one of your ads? The way you have it it feels like a link to another one of your own products. That's in part because you have content that is relevant and the layout gives the suggestion that they are tied to your product
