On a similar note, I highly recommend the documentary "The Sweatbox", which is a behind-the-scenes look at the process behind the creation of "The Emperor's New Groove". It was originally meant to be a very differen

I only have a passing interest in Minecraft but I feel like someone would have made a good Minecraft mod to scratch that itch?

This is really cool, thanks for making it! I wonder if it would be possible to limit Oauth access to accounts with a minimum karma level? Maybe it's a problem that doesn't exist yet, but I could imagine it would help defend agains

Keen to try this, though unfortunately I'm at work at the moment. On a similar note, is there an (un)official HackerNews IRC/Slack/Discord of some kind? A few times I'll be trying to find an article/comment section

Yeah, I find there are some games like CS:GO that feel a bit more like a brain-numbing, slightly soothing activity that chews up time. And then there are roguelikes like FTL that involve interesting decision making and feel far more satisfy

I've only used ffmpeg for some minor video edits, it seems super powerful and is obviously quite ubiquitous. I'm curious to know what people have used it for? I'm sure there are some interesting use-cases out there.
