You could easily replace the word Blockchain in this patent application with the word database and it would all still make sense. Blockchains (I prefer to call them Merkle trees) were invented 40 years ago. The interesting part about crypto

Reading the paper again, I made a mistake in my comment above. The mass attenuation coefficient was at 10keV not 100MeV. Water has a mass attenuation coefficient of about 5cm^2/g at 10keV. Table 1 [1] in the paper shows the true compa

I am skeptical that this fungus absorbs radiation significantly more than the equivalent amount of water would. The paper [1] isn't very clear about possible inaccuracies in the results and I don't understand why this experiment h

So at ~ $170/£130 tonne an average cardboard box which weighs 500g will get you 8.5c/6.5p. Assuming you can remove 5 boxes per minute that equates to 300 boxes per hour or $25/£20 per hour. I can see why there might be a dema

Are there any documents describing the actual user experiences of using Bridgefy or Briar in a real life scenario. They seem like cool tools using interesting technology but I am not convinced that they work well in practice and it is diffi

Not all of that market cap is liquid. I think it is safe to assume that a least 4 million bitcoins [1] or $50 billion of value is completely lost and over time that will grow as more and more coins are lost. [1] https://coinsutra
