There is probably a market for being a trusted second contact for systems like this. Wonder if that would pass muster for Apple.

Yeah, the totally managed deployment for Pages is great to get started, but not being able to run through our regular CI tool is a major bummer and has us also sticking with Worker sites.

UWB can measure distance within 10 cm/4 inches. In ideal scenarios it doesn't take much movement to locate a target, even without a vision component.

Check out sub-prime car loans. Carvana and the like will finance anything with a pulse, so people with poor credit buy used instead of new.

Worked in Higher Ed for years, we had a home grown time keeping system. Cost less for us to source and hack together physical time clocks and a web app than paying ADP, no question.

It's incredibly difficult to migrate even engaged users to the new, different app. Apple should really provide a better route for major version upgrades, especially on the Mac App Store.

You are correct, in my experience. Stating that Apple is mandating a change is grounds for rejection and maybe even a phone call.

They tell you to add IAPs that are to their liking, or you're out of the store for violations of the App Store Review Guidelines.

When compared to dimensionally similar (but certainly not similarly priced!) sedans, the Model 3 ranks well but doesn't really have more cargo space. Dimensions are in cubic feet. BMW 330: 17 Kia Forte: 15.3 Honda Civic (sedan): 15.1 T

Provisioning of new Spaces was recently disabled in some regions while they add capacity. Vaguely concerning IMO and has caused me to seriously reconsider using DO Spaces for a new product I'm building. https://www.digitaloc

Curious what you found limiting about zeromq? Just not enough throughput for high FPS? So far I’ve found it to be the sanest multicast solution since clients pull.

“All in” as long as they don’t micro-trench in an area with freeze/thaw cycles. Yes, I’m still salty they pulled out of Louisville KY. At least they left $3MM to pave the roads they tore up. Get real points on that one.

The pricing lines up with CloudWatch Logs, 50 cents/GB, 3 cents/GB/month. Curious to see what the query language is for this, wonder if they're just exposing the backing store for CloudWatch as a service now.

.NET Core does not have an implementation of WCF, and I can’t imagine to ever will. .NET Core has a pretty good MVC framework you can build REST services on, GraphQL, or gRPC etc. Most of the framework baggage was left behind.
