you should always benchmark your use cases and you obviously don't review multiple outputs; you only review the consensus. see how perplexity does it: https://www.perplexity.ai/hub/blog/introducing-model-counc

moral of the story is use both (or more) and pick the one that works - or even merge the best ideas from generated solutions. independent agentic harnesses support multi-model workflows.

it does get screenshots right for me, but obviously I haven't tried on your specific paper. I can only recommend trying it out, it's also has a much more generous limits in the $20 tier than opus.

try codex 5.3. it's dry and very obviously AI; if you allow a bit of anthropomorphisation, it's kind of high-functioning autistic. it isn't an oracle, it'll still be wrong, but it's a powerful, completely different

if what Elon recently said is true ( if - but he might not be... inaccurate... on this particular thing) they already have and bought the forward production capacity of those new fabs and it still isn't enough.

Recently for obvious reasons I’ve started questioning everything. I imagine I’m not alone. Let’s just say I’m even more of a fan of EU digital infrastructure moving to strictly EU countries, no outside traffic allowed.

current shortages are exactly the result of fabs not wanting to commit extra capex due to overbuild risk and inference demand seems to be growing 10x yoy; you've famously got 8 year old TPUs at google at 100% load.

Meh, every time a new engineer joins a large project onboarding is actually reverse engineering, with luck assisted by original authors.

Never said what CC is doing is right. Using React for knowing what to render is good enough for state management for me, that they can’t or won’t figure out how to emit less escape sequences than they need to (which is a solved problem for

That’s not a TUI, that’s a CLI. Any stateful UI needs a state management backend and a rendering frontend, React isn’t a bad choice for the former.

TUIs work well over ssh. Pretty much everything else is a pain in the ass in some capacity, especially when the ssh client is a smartphone.

CFCs are bad because they make the government get cancer. CO2 is fine because it'll make your grandchildren die in a heatwave or drown in a flood, that won't happen in the next few election cycles.
