There’s about as much sense doing this as there is in putting datacenters in orbit, i.e. it isn’t impossible, but literally any other option is better.

Funny, I never want the screenshot saved to a file and I literally never look at the desktop. I either use ctrl to store the screenshot in the clipboard or want to use marker tools and then copy the clipboard. This new flow was an improveme

Past performance does not guarantee future results. Building out nuclear requires political will and deregulation which today is not attainable in the west. China is the only one actually building reactors, but that isn't enough.

AI which helps us design a commerciallizable fusion reactor might buy us a century.

Nothing new under the sun. We can't cut emissions fast enough politically, but we can race towards economically viable fusion power which would solve the problem from the supply side and would make industrial scale carbon sequestrati

Also if you’re dealing with sensitive information intelligence agencies can’t hack your car to go 100% on the throttle in a suburb. (Not sure if this is relevant in any way to salad spinners, though.)

I’m not an AI hyper, I just don’t code manually anymore. Tickets take about as much time to close as before, but the code shipped now has higher test coverage, higher performance, better concurrency error handling, less follow-up refactor P
