It's not really an ideal solution but I do find wiping my profile/firefox config directory periodically helps speed it up. It seems to get heavier over time.

Not disputing this (perhaps different brand/type/recipe) but I have made aquafaba meringues before and was very impressed, didn’t taste of chickpeas at all to me, just like a meringue texture/sugar wise without the 'eggi

I have also been having intermittent issues with Twitter also this morning (can't load tweets etc) and was wondering if it was connected.

Interesting... It has gotten a lot better over the past few years. The Google issue is not a deal-breaker for me, want to move away from GMail/Calendar for my personal account anyway. Will probably try to make the switch again at some

I wish this were true but certainly on Linux I don't find this to be the case. I periodically try switching to Firefox and always end up back on Chrome for performance reasons. Features wise I prefer Firefox (containers are amazing, ex

Development has picked up again AFAIK, saw one of the developers give a short demo/talk on it recently and it seems neat. Godot is a decent OSS alternative to Unity, but no Clojure/Lisp so far as I know :(

This release is a pretty significant UI overhaul, as was 2.6 from memory but that was a good few years back. Probably worth giving it another shot with 2.8!

Not 100% sure but I think it is something to do with being able to write to localstorage (e.g. if the site figures it can't write there then it is in Incognito). I read it was something like that.

Have been using Sway on Wayland since 1.0 came out six months or so ago and the only awkward part has been HiDPI (I have an Intel card so not effected by the nVidia support). Otherwise good riddance to X, honestly. It felt old 10 years ago!

I know it's no Scheme, but Clojure seems to be doing OK (+ has solid multi core threading, REPL driven development, is a Lisp etc). I guess at the end of the day it's very hard to compete with the JVM.

Always surprised by how well effects like this work. Wouldn't expect the wind shader to look as good as it does, for instance. Games (especially older games...) are full of so many elegant hacks! One that I think about a lot is how in
