IMO you have to forgive the young and their ignorance. If you are too young to have known and talked to someone from the World War 2 generation, you can't know that literally every man in the United States would be cancelled from that

I am a huge Gell-Mann fan as well as Feynman and it is a shame we don't have video of those two in conversation. Gell-Mann has said that Feynman didn't think there was enough evidence for washing your hands after taking a piss. Th

The irony is that the pejorative phrase "Trickle down economics" was pure propaganda. Incredibly effective propaganda considering you are repeating it back like a stochastic parrot decades later.

I am not skeptical of human caused global warming in the least but I am hugely skeptical of our ability to coordinate and solve a problem even a 1/10th as complex. I would never express this to a pollster though as I don't want to

I am sure bot content is far more common than we think since we seem to have a bias that we are always talking to someone on the other end of the message. I think though we are really underestimating how much we will prefer the chat bot at

How many people under 35 know that Greenspan held an "emergency" Fed meeting in 1994 to RAISE rates 25 bps? This idea the Fed exists to print money and keep rates low is just not reality. This is over extending the recent past as

We are not slashing rates, that is not going to happen. Those times are over. We can not slash rates without inflation becoming a larger issue. We had a nice run but this is back to the historic norm that inflation is always lurking in the

At that point the whole concept of a message board with humans exchanging information is probably over. I am ultimately motivated to read this site to read smart things and something interesting. It is quite inefficient though. This comment
