Not really. The magic is in Badalamenti's harmony. Julee Cruise - Floating into the Night is one of my all time favorite albums. The Art of Being a Girl is just nothing without Badalamenti. You can hear this even more so with the Badalamenti and Dolores O'Riordan songs. Badalamenti was just a wizard with a type of introspective melancholy.
