There was a time when I thought China would eventually open up and be more democratic like the rest of the world. I really thought it was inevitable.

I've owned the QC20i (two of them actually). The battery was never the issue. The durability was! I take a great care of all my electronics. And no matter how careful I was, the QC20i never lasted more than 2 years without some sort of

FWIW, I googled IQ Test and blindly clicked on the first link that appeared. Ran through 30 questions and when I clicked on submit - it prompted for a payment lol. Should've seen this coming!

It looks like there is general distrust on the online tests (searching Reddit posts). Can you recommend a few if you know any?

Thanks for the link. I searched the internet, but I couldn't figure out which ones are the good ones.

Off topic, but how does one go about to measure his/her IQ?

I am fortunate to have my own office. That's right. 4 walls and a door. However I still find myself frustrated because the project managers refuse to use headsets and use the speakerphones all day.

Considered rclone instead of boxcryptor? If you are worried about data security, I'd be wary of using a closed source encryption service.

Hopefully this is the beginning of large screen laptop resurgence. Has anyone really extensively used an LG Gram as a daily? Does it hold up well over time? The last thing I want is to have something break and wait 2 months for a warranty

Yes, let me do that right now actually. I placed my phone charger underneath my desk, so it is out of my view. It will ring when I get a call. Didn't need a visual cue. One less clutter on my desk!

Funny you should mention meditation. It is something I am trying to incorporate into my life since early this year. Nothing fancy, I just use some guided meditation I find (usually 10 min long) and close my office door and listen to it. Unf

Thanks for bringing up the term ultra-productive. That's exactly why I began multitasking only to realize it is just far better to work on one thing at a time for the performance and for my happiness. It took me a long time to realize

I try to avoid leaving a game or Youtube video open when I am "working". When I try to multitask, I get more frustrated. In the long run, the frustration turns into depression. So I try to tackle one task at a time nowadays. The d

Took a brief look at Orgmode and it looks great. It also appears to be more feature packed than Vimwiki. Let me give it a shot. I'm a Vim user, so I hope I don't get too disoriented by Emacs.

I'm giving Vimwiki a shot at the moment. I can mark a task as finished with C-space, but is there a way to archive this finished task?

Whoa, I wasn't aware of the web version of OneNote. This is a nice surprise! I'm a Vim user so I will give vimwiki a shot as well. Thank you.

Thanks! Never seen this but I already like it. I use Vim and the fact that I don't have to leave my terminal is definitely a bonus. Have you found a way to access it via your phone/mobile?

Thanks. This is probably 1 of my top 3 choices at the moment. It is timeless, no need to worry about service shutdown, and robust and free. Of course, it probably has the most learning curve as I have to type out everything.
