I don't know why Instant Pot became such a sensation when pressure cookers have been around for ages....

Neat. I wasn't aware Git client had this much feature. On Windows 10 I have "Bash on Windows", but on older systems (such as Windows 7), Git client would do the trick. MobaXterm is nice, but I don't like how heavy it is.

Is Qt a good, modern framework for desktop application development for a beginner? If not, can someone recommend something else?

I agree. NYTimes has led with technical prowess the past a few years.

Is the author of T3X reputable? I am about to drop $20 for the ebook, but I just want to be sure he has good basis on the subject.

Cool, looks like I have something to read this weekend. I am glad their e-book caters towards people with little comp-sci / compiler design background.

Congratulations. I have been drinking Soylent 12 bottles a month. This alone has freed me up from thinking about what to eat for lunch.

Great article. Was not aware there is this much stigma around tantalum caps. There are times when I am forced to avoid ceramic caps for better high frequency handling. It looks like polymer is the way to go - better longevity and no ethical

Thank you. I had a hunch that this would require a scope and a signal generator. And I have neither unfortunately.

Sounds like a fun weekend project. Any guide on how to actually put this together to run check the math?

It sucks that it happened to you, but Samsung turning back on its partners is a known tactic in SK. The sad part is Samsung is probably not the worst of the bunch in that country.

Also SK tried to impeach the president twice in the last decade. That's like two more than the US. In some ways it's a very democratic nation.

Thank you for sharing your story. As a guy who's about to get married, I began paying more attention to articles like this one. I am now ware that early diagnosis is important. I will make sure to see the right specialist if I suspect

"perfect practice makes perfect" - wow this comes as a revelation to me. Never realized how important it is to do it right - something very obvious but struck me by surprise when you put it this way.

MS has been doing really neat stuff lately. I never worked on a project that takes hours to clone. The largest repository I regularly clone is the Linux repo. It still takes only a few minutes. Yet I can see the GVFS being beneficial for me

I'd love to see a worthy competition to Intel.

Would anyone recommend this over doing a masters degree in the similar area of study but at a local university (ie. not Standford)?

I would love to see this used widely, become some sort of a service and see improvements in the quality of the matching algorithm.

Glad I am not the only one who thought the article lacked real info.

There were days when Firefox was my go-to browser. It was years ago. Right now Chrome is my #1 choice for daily driver. Opera seems to be doing pretty interesting stuff with Neon, so I keep an eye out for it and actually use it from time to

" I graduated 256 out of a class of 256 (at the University of Utah). That is, I had the most efficient degree possible. I got a degree, but I didn’t do one bit more than I needed to." LOL!
