Civilization is thriving and we are living in the best times (thanks to capitalism).

Would be great if you'd lose job for plagiarism! Here's example [0] from Cambridge where they actually defend person that plagiarized A LOT. [0] https://retractionwatch.com/2026/07/27/cambridge-jason

It’s because their products are really bad. Last time I tried Gemini it repeatedly lied about running internet search when explicitly asked to do it. I know their models benchmark really well, but in real world the performance is abysmal.

People should get paid for reviewing. That’s the solution. Publishing companies rack in billions of dollars in pure profit exploring free labor. Once people actually get paid for reviewing, it becomes much faster and higher quality and you

I think it's really far fetched to say capitalism is bad idea. It's great system, it has some problems, but the upside is so big and alternatives are so bad that it's really unfair to call it bad system.

Not true at all. I'm from Poland which was occupied by communist for a long time, and I can guarantee you - the amount of scam we had under that rule was orders of magnitude larger than what we have now.

Of course, every socialist country is actually capitalism and that's why it fails.

Absolutely, there's no scam outside capitalism!

The comments there are absolutely unhinged. There are some good reasons for being anti-AI, but why dilute it with this kind of bullshit: > It is equivalent to book burning in the past. A form of thought control

Yeah, why would it be bad for publishers? If anything they'd most likely encourage more book shredding!

But they don't have to succeed, invasion of Baltic countries could potentially be enough to start WW3, even if russia does not have capacity to win it.

It's not Ukraine that regularly threatens Poland. Russian propaganda is truly only for absolute brain dead - how can you at same time fantasize about bombing Warsaw, jam GPS over Baltic, do hybrid war across Polish-Belarusian border an

What you've listed here is not what russia lists as a reason for attacking Ukraine. And even if it was, it's still really shitty pretext.

Yes, out of two alternatives - large growth but largest in top decile vs no growth, the first one is absolutely 1000x times better. And we know that every alternative to capitalism leads to much smaller growth. Also it's not just telev

It's not, it's basically something that happened. One unsolved problem was solved with the only human input being telling LLM to work harder and to actually solve it after few failed attempts.

If you say "find some unsolved graph theory problem and counterexample for it" and LLM actually does it, is it really you that solved the problem? That's the difference vs other tools.
