Yeah I agree with those points. I must admit I didn't read anything really to do with parenting before becoming a parent. It seems like there are so many different variables, every child is totally different, that reading books might even s

It doesn't need to be, but it's nice figuring out how you can turn 'fun toy' into 'monetizable product'.

Indeed. The whole paper is pretty much devoted to scaring the shit out of readers, spouting bizarre stories devoid of any real basis of fact. eg "Immigrants linked to terrorism cancer causing pedophiles"

I made one of these 10 years ago (Java Applet). Great fun, but I have no idea how to make it into much more than a fun toy.

Many people disagree with the idea of Unions. That doesn't mean you should ignore everything they say just because you don't like one of their viewpoints. People aren't "good" or "evil". People are complex. If you ignore someone just becaus

Also I think it's relevant to show how much was spent on advertising. If all of that traffic came from paying $$$ to Reddit, then that needs to be taken into account, but if the majority of traffic is from real traction then very cool indee

It depends. You can make money simply finding people who want stuff, and pointing them at stuff. Having content can just be an optional extra which brings repeat sales.

I've been making a living out of advertising income for 10 years. I think if anything it's easier now to make money out of advertising. Back in the day you didn't even have adsense/adwords etc. It would be fun to do such an experiment, but
