It looks great, but as much as I like mac-native apps, I use Mac for work, and Linux at home. TablePlus is cross platform, and much better for my needs.

If your free tier customers are costing you a lot of money, you're going it wrong.

Isn't that basically what happened to Skype? Microsoft paid $8.5B for Skype when it was on top of the world, and now I don't know a single person who uses it.

I got lucky and got a 6800 from AMD.com (wanted the 6800XT). It was pretty sucky that AMD said they'd have a lot of supply, and then didn't.

I thought the Radeon 6800 was a pretty good launch. Didn't it hold up with Nvidia in most benchmarks except RT?

interesting. I hadn't considered AMD doing this due to Intel 12th gen. If true, that's a sign that AMD isn't doing this to help customers, but to hurt intel

Is this a sign zen4 is delayed? I get they need new motherboards and socket, and DDR5 etc.., but launching zen3 stuff now is strange. A lot of us already upgraded.

I get it's good, but what took them so long? Wouldn't many people who had 300 series motherboards already have upgraded? They were stuck for 18 months without a path forward.

I don't really understand DigitalOcean's market here. They're obviously. not going after the main cloud players, but it seems strange that they're targeting consumers directly. They spent a lot of time/money crowdso

Good take. This made me thing of all the GOogle failures in a different light. It isn't just that they abandon users. They also crush competitors in the initial phase (by being free, or generally having Google branding), only to pull t

I've always preferred to build my own computers. It's fun, and you can customize, and with few exceptions, it meant better performance/acoustics/thermals than what you could buy directly from PC manufacturers. Now though

I'd never heard of fsnot.es. It looks great. I bought Ulysses ages ago on Mac because I wanted a performant, native-app markdown app that supported external folders. Unfortunately, shortly after purchasing it Ulysses went subscription

It's just unfortunate that the proprietary apps have IMHO much nicer UI/UX. Why can't we have both! On Mac I use Ulysses. I get the benefits described here while still having a fast, native app with excellent UX. I have Mac f

Does anyone care about this after the Analogue Pocket and the Steam Deck have launched (I get my Steam Deck next week). I get they're different devices, but I feel the Playdate had a bunch of hype, and then took way too long to ship,

I think this is great. I've worked at several places that say 'we pay at the market rate', and it's very hard to verify. It leads to gossip, or interviewing and getting offers etc.. This should make it easy. If you work

So your team is the perfect candidate for the paid version, and doesn't see the value. I agree with others that Postman created limitations just to justify a paid version. Those types of services/apps rarely succeed.
