There's no animation cancelling at all and the animation queue can sometimes be obnoxiously long. But that's part of the point. Most Button presses you have to commit to, requiring you to be more aware of exactly what your enemies

Sibling already said this, but you can go through most bosses with an easier time without getting extremely good at it. I've played through all 3 dks games and am not exactly good at them (ironically they are by far my favourite games)

You can summon npcs and basically pokemom to most fights in elden ring. Using magic or toxic based builds also simplifies many bosses. You can also go around exploring a lot of the World slap some dungeon bosses and beh happy. It doesn'

The android app of apple music is terrible though. I've tried using it for a month but had constant trouble with it getting stuck loading searches or artists. I've switched to tidal a few days ago, and that seems to have odd issue

Just a heads up, pandas to Csv is laughably slow. You're literally better off converting the pandas df to arrow and then serialise to Csv with arrow, though the format is quite limited with arrow.

From experience I can tell that one can get used to other people's styles and just work with that oneself. Unifying among an enforced style and sticking to it really reduces the amount of unnecessary discussions. I genuinely feel that

I'll second the use of immutable data structures. Had to do some real nasty work of debugging last week because someone accidentally mutated a configuration object causing persistence issues much deeper in the stack. Would've been

Hades really scratched that itch for me. It's very easy to get going and have fun, but requires investment to completely finish it. I'm pretty terrible at most games so it took me quite a while to actually finish a whole run, but

Put a demo up on itch.io and post them into indie gaming communities. Errant signal or suoerbunnyhop sometimes check out their mailbox for cool games.

This list is pretty good, though I've found Alex to be quite grating and very low on the information side of things for a long time(that noodle tier list was an absurd waste of time). Still sometimes entertaining to watch and I just ye

Yeah, beer prices in Germany are absurdly low. Unfortunately that also means that it's quite hard for smaller breweries to compete. The Franken region (densest brewery region) is seeing the slow death of the family brewery because the

> If it's just homebrewing / for personal, family / friends consumption, how would they even find out? A lot of laws are only there to enforce if they actually uncover a big operation. True and that's kind of the joke

In germany beer homebrewing is limited at 200L/year (approx 50gallons, which is a respectable but not huge amount if you have friends). Anything above you have to pay taxes on. Those taxes however are pretty minor for a typical 20L bat

Maybe someone can help me with this, how do you integrate r as a cli tool? I'm in a mostly R shop but its integration is so confusing and/or bad with other tools that we usually just rewrite everything in python for integration (w

I agree a lot with this. I'm in a lot of niche groups of my hobbies and of those most are really quite trash (usually pedantic ideological battles) even if they claim to be otherwise. There's however one that has such a strong mod

It should not take someone a week to read a research paper. Depending on the paper maybe a day but usually a few hours. Carefully studying it is something else and that might take a week, but not every paper needs that kind of attention and

I think you're confusing something here. I'm not claiming we don't need open data nor am I claiming that the non-academic populus would be unable to make interesting observations with open data. I'm saying that of those
