This is an interesting blog post, but I have to nitpick at a couple points. First, the author says "Touching someone without their consent is assault." I hope that's just a not-so-well-thought-out sentence. What was described in the [origin

I had a Wii for a while, and the motion control thing was fun at first, but it wore itself out pretty quickly. I think the thing I appreciated most was the ease of aiming when playing Metroid.

Kinect sounds like some impressive tech, but it doesn't really sound fun to me. Obviously I'm not the target audience, but I wonder how many people out there want to play games in this manner. It might be a cool novelty, but is it a lasti

So you've accounted for protein, but you need a lot more than that. For example, without vitamin C, you'll get scurvy. Without B12, your nervous system can be permanently damaged. I'd highly recommend a diet of more than just beans, rice, p

I'm pretty sure potatoes and other starches are not included in the definition. I don't think hash browns are the solution, though they make for a delicious problem.

Another flaw in this sort of study is that there's an enormous disconnect between what we say we would do, and what we would actually do. I might say "yes, I would push Chip/Tyrone over the rail", because I really do believe that's the

I think there's a few key points to take away from Agile ... 1. Involve end users (aka customers) in the process as much as possible, since if they don't like the end result your work was wasted. 2. Do work in small chunks. Releasing every

"My 10-minute routine dropped to a minute ..." Jesus, what the hell is wrong with this guy? Or maybe I'm the freak, but I don't spend ten minutes on the toilet. Usually it takes 30s-2m to do my business. Maybe he should consider a change in

That anime was really confusing. I'm not sure I could come up with a simple plain English explanation. Was it a dream? A computer simulation? An alternate reality? I mean, really, wtf?

TIOBE is crap. See Tim Bunce's analysis of TIOBE ( http://blog.timbunce.org/2008/04/12/tiobe-or-not-tiobe-lies-... ) for details. Why do people keep quoting TIOBE like it means something?
